Chester County Fire Training is holding the following two training classes: BASEMENT FIRES DESCRIPTION: The modern residential basement may be packed with electronic equipment and furnishings. A basement fire can present serious challenges for responding firefighting crews. This 16 hour course addresses the important issues such as size-up, strategy, tactics deployment and safety that fire officers and firefighters must address to safely and effectively extinguish a fire located in a basement. PREREQUISITE: A certificate indicating a live fire training program (i.e. SBS, ZSFB, ELIF) or Fire Fighter I Certification. FEE: $100.00 per student. CERTIFICATION: Chester County Public Safety Training Center certificate will be issued upon successful completion of this course. REQUIREMENTS: Full turnout gear including SCBA with spare cylinder.
